WOMT 107.9 FM & AM 1240 has come a long way since its founder, Francis Kadow, first went on the air at 5:30 PM on November 8th, 1926. At that time, WOMT AM studios and offices were located on the second story of the Mikadow Theatre Building across from Washington Park in Manitowoc.
