RetroROCKS! is unlike any station that you’re likely to hear. We don’t really fit a specific “radio” format. Primarily it is a mix of “Classic Hits” with “Classic Rock” tracks for added spice. The music we feature on RetroROCKS! was and continues to be a work in progress. We chose the 60s, 70s & 80s because those decades are the closest to our hearts, and we have the most expertise in them. That was the easiest part, from there it got much more difficult.

We play a very wide mix of the 60s, 70s & 80s. You’ll hear deep classic rock tracks from Led Zeppelin, Yes, ELP, AC/DC, Guns & Roses, The Beatles and more mixed with the #1 hits of each decade. There’s a little something for everyone from Motown to the 60s girl groups. The 70s saw the advent of the Singer/Songwriters, you’ll hear James Taylor, Carol King, Carly Simon, Elton John and more. The 80s brought more changes, you’ll hear Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Van Halen and more! Of course, dancing was a part of each of those decades, so you’ll hear some of the best dance music from that era. We also frequently feature 70s and 80s themed weekends where we’ll put the spotlight on a decade for the weekend.
