Heartland Public Radio broadcasts Classic Country Music and Bluegrass Gospel Music commercial-free 24 hours a day. Our first two live channels represent the first two generations of Classic Country music. HPR1 covers the mid-1940s through the early 1970s. HPR2 covers the early 1970s through the early 2000s. Meanwhile, HPR4 features soul-soothing Bluegrass Gospel Music.

Heartland Public Radio is a commercial-free, listener-supported radio station. Virtually 100% of our operating budget is provided by donations from listeners like you. All of our channels focus on the music they represent with very little talk. Twice each year, usually in the spring and fall, we hold our pledge drives in order to secure the funding needed to continue broadcasting.
