1430 KYKN is the Local News, Talk, and Information station of the Mid-Willamette Valley. Our Local Talk Show Newsmakers at Noon program stays abreast of timely regional and national issues that are important to area listeners, airing Monday through Thursday at noon. Fridays at noon are home to Oh the Humanity with host Fay De Meyer joined each week by a guest to discuss why a recalibration to civility is so critical. Warren Franklin leads our morning team that starts the day for thousands of locals along with National Talk Show Host Glenn Beck. National talk hosts Todd Starnes, Bill O’Reilly, Sebastian Gorka, Charlie Kirk, and Dennis Prager round out the day. Weekend hosts include Kim Komando. For the last 28 years, KYKN has been The UNIVERSITY OF OREGON AFFILIATE for Football and Basketball in the Salem metro area. KYKN also features High School Football broadcasts in the Fall.
