Soft adult contemporary defines 101.9 The Wave, a Mid-Missouri station built around a broad mix of easy-listening favorites and variety hits. Kevin Hilley anchors the midday show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays, while nationally syndicated host John Tesh takes over the afternoon drive from 2 to 7 p.m. and also hosts a Sunday morning slot, giving the lineup both local and national voices.

Weekends bring a different flavor with Anna & Raven on Saturday mornings and Throwback Nation with Tony Lorino on Saturday evenings, leaning into nostalgia for listeners who want a blast from the past. The Wave also runs community-minded features like its weekly pet-adoption spotlight, keeping a local touch alongside the music. Listeners throughout the region can stream 101.9 The Wave live for music and variety around the clock.
